Superhost Finals

Today was the Superhost Finals and I enjoy watching it..The superhost finalists are really good and got their own talents and hosting styles.Unlike, star idol contestants who I dont really see any acting talents in them...perhaps only jacqueline bah. I think the jue dui superstars who are going to act in the new drama did better than the star idols contestants and somemore they are singers not actors!!!(Based on the trailer I watched..The junyang tears seemed a bit funny..)

Back to superhost, I think Lee Teng did an excellent job..His reactions were fast and his hosting style is modern, funny, interesting. During round 1, I am really impressed by Lee Teng that he can link the 3 items perfectly. Though he lost out in renqi, but being third in popularity is also a comfort for him cos usually he always stay at the last few positions..A pity that he lost a bit to Cui Fang..Cui fang did not perform as well as her previous rounds and she did pause occassionally. I think Weixiong did better than Cui Fang. But Cui Fang is always very safe due to her confident in stage..Liang Yi new hairstyle is very nice and she looked prettier than her previous rounds..She did very badly in round 1 but luckily round 2, she did better..I am quite disappointed with Xiao Zhou..He was so restless and seemed that he did not want to put it effort and energy to fight for the champion. Maybe he got some personal problems?? But I think he still got the potential to be a good host.
Yesterday, the superhosts sang quite well too..Some got nice vocals..I think Yun Ying vocal is quite special and the top 4 males can form a boy band..Their voices match rather well.. Guo Mei Mei also appear as special guest today and her dance steps seemed a bit kiddy..haha..

Interesting Maths Quiz

Last friday after bible study, I and my friends talk about an interesting quiz..Just wanna share this quiz below..Sometimes we will discuss maths questions which cant be solve while we gave tuition and the advice can be quite rewarding cos abt half of our group took double mathematics in JC...

Here are the quiz:
Three travellers went to a hotel overnight. They paid $30 dollars(each paid 10 dollars) but the Landlord told them it is $25 dollars as there is a promotion discount..She gave them 1 dollar each and kept 2 dollars as tips(altogether 5 dollars)..Hence each traveller paid 9 dollars instead..However, 9x3 =27+2 dollars tips..Where is the 1 dollar gone? Think abt it..

Fearless

Today just went to watch "Fearless" with Weihan, my primary school friend.. The ending was quite touching. The storyline was simple and yet impressive and inspiring. The fighting was great but a bit too matrix at some parts..There was a part where a Western sharing the gospel, somehow they filmed it a bit comical..haha.Jet Li acting skills did improve cos at least I can see the contrast of the character of huo yuan jia before and after through the expressions of Jet Li.But don think his acting skills is good enough to film a love story movie since this will be his last wushi movie..In this movie, it seemed that there is a lack of connectivity in the movie from Huo Yuan Jia as a kid to become a father with a kid..The movie didnt show how his father died, how Huo Yuan Jia learnt his fighting skills and how he got married and how his wife died.(Heard there was a 40min cut from the movie?).Anyway, can read more abt the history of huo yuan jia in the link below..

Problem with Internet Access

Quite often, I encountered Limited and no connectivity from the internet access for starhub..Then once, I phoned the starhub customer line..It was always very hard to get through...So I was watching my Jay Chow VCD which I bought recently while waiting for the line to get through.....Not knowing the phone was through, I keep letting the starhub person to listen to Jay songs..haha.Quite embarrassed..haha..Anyway, below are the following steps to solve it if u encounter such problem frequently. Not sure it works for all modems but for my modem it works..haha..

Turn off your computer and modem...
Turn on your modem but do not turn on the computer yet.
Wait for the first 3 lights to be stable on the modem..
Turn on your computer..
Problem solved..The technican told me if problem not solved, u need to download a patch because this problem arise due to a bug in Windows XP Service Pack 2 but luckily my problem was solved and need not download any patch.....

Meiqi ROM

Today is Meiqi aka MeiK ROM..Glad to see her marrying..Happy for her...It also an opportunity for our primary school mates to meet and gather..Meiqi was older than me by 2 years old as she came from HK...Her husband looked like pei yong jun..haha...It also been so long that I had not seen her smaller bro as well, saw his bro and played catching with him before while we are in primary school..Her bro and we all all graduated from Yangzheng Primary School in Serangoon...The bonding for our primary school mates are quite strong after so many years, perhaps most of us still live around the same area and easy to meet up even when we go to serangoon interchange. Serangoon--- the area where we play block catching..I still remember the times the neighbourhood are complaining to the school and sometimes teachers and police(not too sure there is or not or is it exaggerating) will come and inspect at the HDB opposite our school. And we had to run and hide..That is really catching btw police and thief..haha.
Recently, I just realised the star idol Lincoln is from Yanzheng Pri Sch but not our batch..He much younger..And Chengxi is from my JC---SRJC... Below are the photos taken during meiqi ROM..

CD Review

Campus Superstar

F1:Tersea(暧昧）
The best female vocalist among the rest...Sweet smile is an additional point..Always steady and always chose the same type and safe song to sing..One danger is pple might be getting boring.

I gave 7.5/10

Sunshine gal with a lovely set of teeth and smile. Ahmei song is not a good song to sing it a competition as it might be difficult for most pple to sing. She sounds rather bad at high notes and parts that need power to sing..

I gave 6.5/10

F3:Geraldine (舍得）
This song suits her..But she seemed to try very hard to sing..Her expressions made me nervous and painful..

I gave 6.5/10

For the past rounds, I don find his songs nice and comfortable. But this time round, I see his nice and comfortable vocal. A bit too blur most of the times..

I gave 6.5/10

His knowledge of dance, looks and confident on stage are additional points and personal trademark for him. Though his jia yin is not very good, but still acceptable..Need to take up music lessons to improve bah...His sense of rythme and dance movements blend it quite well..

I gave 7/10

Nice.Excellent. I cant see any mistakes..I really enjoy his rendition, everything flows well, and I and feel that he and the audience both enjoy while he sang. His style is not those boring type and will surprise you each time, got the ceng ci gan when he sang too..But I think his fingers quite distorted..

I gave 9/10

Company New Year Celebrations

(All christians in my coy got prizes!!haha God Bless..) ..
Time To Say Goodbye....
