Today performance is the worst...It is alright if u miss it....
Only one contestant hit 30 mark and above..And i think she deserve it..The rest , the judges give very low marks...Just some advice on the contestants: Don anyhow take the judges advice such as when the judges always ask contestants to sing a happy, fast song..If u cant manage, it can kill u instead....Know for yourself...

Soso..Their voices don match as F1 voice crystal clear..

The best performance today..I like her voice, a female jeff version vocal, very crystal clear...But a bit boring song to listen if u are not as good as Faye...

When I heard she sang the first few lines, I am telling myself she going to fail..No emotions at all. So dull..So dead...The starting lalala also did not do well at all..The only nice part to avoid a failing mark is the chorus..Still not bad...

Nothing impressive...A usual duet that is easily forgotten.

She really looks like joanne peh..The smile is so nice and bright, a cheerful smile...Got guan zhong yuan...The song overall I still enjoy...Just that something is holding her when she sings..She need to be more open, not that tense...And I think she don deserve the lowest point among the six...

A very disappointing performance..A lot of pple know her from audition cos she is so special.I like her while I saw her on the audition rounds..But today performance did not do very well and change my opinion of hers...When she sings, no tone at all..Choose a so difficult song to sing..To all contestants: Avoid most of the kit chan songs in the future..
But she got the 台风, the movements on stage is very natural, give me a comfortable feeling...Sadly the most impt thing, the vocal , she don have..

This ahmei song a bit too difficult to sing..They got difficulty while they sing initially..But the chorus is not bad..got 默契。nice duet..

A sweet gal.Her hair should not tied..Should let down..Why her style same as F6 one..Even their earrings are the same....But her vocal cannot make it...One of the weakest...No power at all..But surprising the song man man lai still not that bad， give me a comfortable hearing, though a bit difficult to sing...

This time round, the judges gave higher points...Li Weisong gave 8 points for M5 and 7 points for M3...All the bigshots are here but i prefer the last week-- first six male contestants...

Duet: 找自己
Throughout the duet for "zao zi ji" I like the part where wei choong use his vocals and shout and drag while raymond sings..The rest don catch my attention..

M1 chia wei choong

He had the superstar look(singer F4?) and his vocals is still alright to me. Moreover, he got a bit of his own style..But when I heard the title of the song he going to sing, I was a bit shock..A rare song to sing for competition.This song I also don really like..Nothing much for a singer to shine his vocals...Still nervous though he got experience in big stage before..But seriously, I don want a vase to win the superstar title...

I think the judges gave him a bit too low..His vocals are quite "bright"..But i disagree with him that his looks are good.Look like dongfang billy to me.. Why today all the contestants a bit thick skinned? I don find him handsome at all but his vocals still alright...

I am amazed when he mo fang a lot of singers in the introduction of jue dui superstar a couple of weeks ago. He is the one I looking forward among today six contestants..He got his own style of singing and his vocals are not bad..Need to polish more and he looked quite active but not on stage..He is quite a funny type person, can act in comedy dramas? haha...He can sing better in the first part of the song..cos the first part did not impress me much...

M4 Liang wei qiang

He a bit lack of experience and the dressing a bit weird as well..But I think his voice sounds a bit like ronald and li shen jie.
Need more emotions while singing..I only capture some emotions when he chuan yin...After he sings this song, i got the urge to listen to the actual singer who sings this song..I haven listen to this Li Sheng jie song before yet..

The duet, they changed a total new style of chi pang especially M6.They lack a bit of eye contact between them...

M5 Tan William Tanoto

The only contestant that is fully confident..He got his own style cos a bit of westerned style of singing..Now I know why junyang let him sing this song. Initially both wanted to sing this song but it against the rule that 2 contestants singing the same song, so junyang let him sing and junyang sang jiang nan instead.. The reason is because M5 really had a lack of chinese pop exposure..Even his chinese and the way he speak/pronounce need to brush up as well though he is from hwa chong..His performance is similar to junyang performance, which is both gave me a relax, comfortable feeling while listening the songs..Some contestants tend to give pple a nervous feeling while they sing as they are very nervous..Another thing about him is that some actions are a bit niang especially singing the duet...

Weisong gave him 8, more than kelly..I am rather impressed..He talked abt mic techniques..From the start of this contest, I had never see a contestant control the mic distance betw their mouth and the mic. It good to control to make the song nicer..Another thing is Xu Huanliang did his homework..That why he told M5 to listen more to chinese pop..Seemed that he got read the contestants profile...I am rather amazed..A good judge...

Daily Bread of week 26(2005)

Every week, I shall share some nice daily bread I had read each week..

Title: Porcupine People

Deep in a Wyoming canyon I came across the biggest porcupine I had ever seen. As he lumbered towards me, I watched him closely and gave him plenty of room. I was not about to get near a guy whose quills looked like missiles. No wonder he was alone!!

But he is not alone all the time. Every November and December, porcupines get close enough to produce offspring. During that time, they choose to relax their quills, then they return to their prickly selves.

In nearly every church, there will be a porcupine or two, with sharp quills of criticism or sarcasm or arrogance. We want to avoid them, but God places us in communities of believers for fellowship. He commands us to love one another- including the porcupines types. And in our honest moments, we have to admit that we had quills too.

John wrote:" He who loves God must love his brother." (1 John 4:21) To do this, we must ask God to relax our "quills" even when people are prickly. It is the way to show the world that we love God.

A day at Cafe Cartel

Today went to PS to meet Dennis and zhenwei straight after my piano lessons. We went to Cafe Cartel to have our dinner. It was a rather late dinner. The surfing was rather big so Dennis and I share one set dinner. Well, we are all looking for jobs. Then Dennis shared with us about his interview last week..He told us the interviewer said to him: "so u are fresh grad, as fresh as those in an oven." When we heard that, we all laughed. What kind of interviewer is this? Then we add on, yup, we are as fresh as those in the oven, ready to be eat, torture haha..

I got my Gown!

Today, went to collect the graduation gown.Yesterday, my mum pass me money for the gown, I was thinking whether I should pay my own..Haha..But nevermind, my pocket money was cut a lot, so I never refuse.haha. Usually I pay my own de haha...Meet Zhenwei, Dennis, June to collect. I forget to bring my hp today but luckily I can still meet them though I a bit late..Sianz.One interesting thing is that I saw Likai pic with his family in one of the brochures of a studio portraiture coy..I think they used likai family pic as an example in the brochure..I was quite surprised when I first saw it cos this person looked familiar..Within a few moments, I know it is my friend I knew, Likai.. Well, later we went to eat lunch and zhenwei brought me to the driving centre to book for basic theory at Yio Chu Kang...Don know I will pass or not..lol....Quite far from the mrt, walk a bit of distance to reach the centre...Then I went back home, bath, surf net then concused soon..Really tired, never sleep well yesterday nite..That all for today..nothing much....

Jue Dui Superstar Quarter Finals Round 1 Women

Yesterday, the song forever love let me more impress of Leehom when I hear the contestant sang. For today, no such incident had happened. The girls are more open and not that nervous compared to the guys. This is usual. In school, most gals did better than guys in presentations as well.
After seeing the 2 quarter finals, I realise the contestants like to choose songs related to the judges, thinking they will get high points for that. For example, JJ songs, Kit, Sunyanzi songs. That is totally wrong; it may be true for star search or miss universe sort of contests if you said something related or something good to the judge.

Duet: High High High
Nothing special or impressive. Duet to impress me is rather hard cos I usually like solo songs or solo singers.




F1 ：石欣卉
演唱歌曲：炫耀
This song is really a challenging song to sing. She got nice vocals, a bit 沙哑 but her vocal got emotions inside naturally. She sings quite alright to me, had emotions inside, a bit too sad than it supposed to be. She brought out the emotions of the song in the last word of the sentence. Quite well done, but still room of improvement cos it is a bit too challenging for her to sing. Some parts were quite weird when she sings.

F2: 潘嘉丽
演唱歌曲: 美丽笨女人
Exactly, I don really hear this song before. But she looked confident and got her style when she sings. She chose the right song for her vocals to shine. Give me an enjoyable time listening to the whole song. Well done. Her hair really needs to do something about it. She looks good with her previous hairstyle and iweekly even commend she looked like Fann Wong. But with this hairstyle, she is far from Fann Wong. First time, I see li weisong gave 7 points for a contestant. But i don like this type of song one..haha...

Duet: Bad Boy
When they sing this duet, it is just horrible. F4 voice is totally covered by F3 voice.
When they sings together, it is like chicken or duck voices. The only part that is pleasant is the last part when they said byebyebyebye…

演唱歌曲：挥着翅膀的女孩
A HK contestant with HK accent and sings a HK singer. The song is quite nice to hear. Overall, it is very pleasant to hear but nothing special or impressive throughout. She chose a safe song to sing. Nice job.

F4:蔡诗妮 (Ruth)
演唱歌曲：奔
She had chosen the wrong song. Being the first time on such a huge stage and chose such a challenging song, it is a commit suicide attempt. She really needs to know her limits. Don’t imagine you are really a superstar while you still had lot of stuff to improve. She sounds like sunyanzi in some parts and we just cant see her own style at times. Powerful vocals at times, but also weak at times. Inconsistent!! How to let listeners enjoy the song?

I give 5.5/10


Duet: I never hear this song before also. Oh I think my music knowledge had worsened over the years. But this song, they do not have enough 默契and though efforts had been put by doing some actions. But the homework is still not enough.

My favourite performance so far today. Though she may not be the best, I like her style. She got her own style to sing. She got a rare vocal. She is cool and she got the looks as well. She got the superstar qualities. Her vocal is unique and can develop more into a more unique style that belongs to her as time goes. Well Done。Just happen to know she is from ajc, my friend told me one, badminton team some more…

F6: 陈静颖 (Candy)

An Andy Lau Fan. I don really had good impression of hers as I don really got good impression of andy lau fans. When I look at her last time, her look really cannot make it to become superstar at all. But today, it really surprised me. She had slimmed down a lot and her dress is nice. Her vocal is not that bad. But when she sings this song “Baby 对不起”, I don really feel the sorry feeling at all. She just sang with no emotions. Her vocal is good but emotion is dead. The superstar mark is still far from it.Her vocals might impress pple and her friends in the ktv, but not in such a big singing competition!!

F4 should be out instead..But when i see the 3 person pair up, F1-3, i think F3 stands the most chance to be kicked out..But the other 2 got chance to kick out also but quite slim...I think F2 got higher chance to be kicked out than F1..I also realise diff judges judge diff aspects..

Initial D

Today woke up at about 745am, the first time ever since my exams, I had never wake up so early..But when back to sleep around 9 plus again...Then woke up at 11am....really don feel like waking up but meeting Colin 12pm at J8..I was a bit late and he was late too cos he overslept too...lol...Since we realise today is the first day for "Initial D" movie to be screened on cinemas, we decided to watch.Exactly, I don intend to watch this movie, but glad I watch cos it was good.. We bought tickets first before heading for lunch..The tickets are selling fast and we managed to get the second row...Then we went to eat lunch..The "xiao long bao" was nice, the juice(is that the correct word?) inside really melt in your mouth, very delicious but a bit sinful to eat...lol..We exchange our birthday gifts though it is quite long from our birthday dates. Mine is 7may and his is 2 Jun.Our birthday are rather close so we usually meet together and celebrate haha...Time flies..We had know each other for 6-7 years already..During our army lives, we seldom meet up cos when I go army, he did his A levels..When I am in NUS, he went to army..I graduated, he just enter NTU soon. Throughout the 6-7 years, we meet only a few times..

6-7 years meetup only 13 times....I guess roughly there from what i remember...The next time I see him will be at the lake...the snow wolf lake concert I mean though we are going with other friends and diff seats....

He got his NTU scholarship..Congrats to him..He told me the panel of interviewers are all his dad friends..lol. But luckily his dad stepped down as a Dean recently.Otherwise sure a lot of gossips..I guess he is smart and he can do well in his university life.Study Hard, Colin!.....We chat a lot, nonstopping and as usual, Colin share some of his army stories...Don know why, most guys usually like to bring their army stories to talk each chit chat session. Well, this had became singapore army guys culture...We chat until 2:07pm and our movie is 210pm. We paid the bill and proceeded to the movie.. Our 210pm slot was sold out when we reached the cinema but luckily we bought the tickets already. It was quite rare to see a chinese movie selling so good, every slots were selling fast and some sold out. This is my first time watching a movie on its first day screening cos I am not that kind that love to watch movies..Next, we decided to buy popcorn though we are full since popcorn are quite addictive to eat..He told me that time he went to watch movie with his friend and his friend did not eat dinner, and he ate the whole popcorn.lol...The moral of the story is do not share popcorn with a friend if he had not eaten lunch or dinner..haha....We are a bit late and the show had not started..The advertisement is very very long..You know we ate almost half the portion of the popcorn and the advertisements are still showing..The movie only began at 240pm..quite long..from 210 to 240..half an hour!!!Wow!!!A lot of teenagers, xiao meimei and xiao didi watching the movie, and they shouted when jay came out the first time..Colin told me when "something " (cant recall what is the thing) come out, we shout also..lol....Luckily they only shout the first time...

If u never watch initial D, pls don read this paragraph!!
It was a nice show, full of excitement, laughter and the movie was coolz..Edison, jay and the cars are coolz..The movie is much better than lie huo zhan che by andy lau many years back...This inital D not much focus on love, all about car competition..The whole movie took 1h 30-45min to complete, almost 2 hours..I expect pple to die in this movie, but luckily no one die..Heehee...

Well, today, I receieved my birthday gift from colin. Well, we seldom meet and this is my second birthday gift I received from him. His gifts always surprised me and I sure to like it very much. When I saw this gift, I am so touched that I want to cry. 我想哭但哭不出来。哈哈 Thanks Colin， for the effort to make such a gift for me. I really appreciated it...This year, the best gift is definitely from him..But i also thank for all other gifts my friends had gave me.I like it too.Pple like dennis, yeowguan,Zhenwei,Peizhen,yimin, Nok, benjamin, yuzhou, nelson, TK, Colin, my parents? haha, chengda(in advance?)...The first gift Colin give is a CD. That was many years ago...Well, that singer I don really like cos his previous albums I bought, the songs are easily bored. But Colin gave it to me with autographed somemore...And I began to like this album so much after listening to it and I changed the opinion of the singer...Not many pple will buy album to me one..Cos they don really know what albums I bought mah..A bit risky to do so...But Colin, though we meet up so little times, he still know what to buy for me..Maybe we chat a lot in icq last time..For yr info, the album is Daniel Chan "bi wo xing fu".

This year present, I like it very much...Cos he did it one..D.I.Y...Not many gifts I received was made by my friends..Only received from Benjamin, Seet etc ...Well, Colin arts and crafts not bad though he is a mathematics person...Heehee.I was curious what thing did he buy that he got such a big plastic bag from sembawang music...He gave me a book which he binded with all the piano scores of ALL jeff chang..I think it is impossible to find it now. Even on the net!! I searched before but it is hard loh...This inspired me to learn piano harder haha..I will try my best to use the shortest time to play a few pieces of the song in this booklet..haha...He photocopied and binded into a book cos he got lots of piano scores of chinese pop...This idea was originated from me cos that time i also made a booklet of our icq message history when he was going to army.....Back to topic, at the back got some arts and crafts done, a pic of ours, last time put neo print, now put photos...and also a hello panda paper.Did I tell him I like pandas last time?? but it is cute...And also a free cd rama coupon!!! He told me to collect 1 album of my choice from cdrama..I see the coupon, it took him 2 months to complete it..Wow...indeed it is very fast but don surprised me lar..Expected one...Usually I took 3 months to complete but now I took 5-6 months to complete cos I cut down buying albums over the years..Colin is a CD collector and had far more CDs than me...

Today Colin asked me about one song he liked but don know the title..But luckily I managed to give him the title, but the title I gave is a bit wrong..It should be 写给城市的诗 instead of 写给城市的一首诗 which I told him..lol..I getting old le...forget easily...haha...To add on, his guessing of songs should be very good, about 1-3 seconds, should be able to tell a popular song..I am able to do that last time, but now, I not that sure.haha....I shall end here...

Jue Dui Superstar-- Quarter Finals Round 1-- Man

Most or all contestants got stage fright and a bit too nervous...All the songs they sang, they did not display the emotions very well and eat up some emotions..The last sentence to the first sentence of the song is rather rapid, and listeners cant really enjoy the whole song...The duets they sing, I like best is Zhang xin.Zhang xin is the only duet today which is originally sing by 2 pple..The other 2 songs tian tian and dong jie is originally sing by solo singer bah.. perhaps it is not meant to be sing by 2 person, sounds a bit weird. One voice cover the other voice...especially the song "tian tian"..


M1 (sugainto)
演唱歌曲：不可能错过你
-- He overdid his vocals..Good in rap among the contestants, but need to be more open in some areas when he sings. His style, I can only say either u hate it or like it..His style can be irritating sometimes as well....

M2 (Leon)

-- I could say well done.. He had a quite a huge vocal range and can go quite high. Forever love is indeed a difficult song to sing and the keys I guess a bit wrong for forever love. quite weird at some parts....but still quite well done..Got some emotions in the song..Nice vocals

- Born in 81 and study in NUS..Same as me..Just some info abt him before i comments...Here the comments: I could say he shouldnt choose JJ song.This is not mo fang contests....But his vocals is not bad and the overall performance give listeners a very nice and relax feel. Really enjoy the song while he sang..Good work...

- Another one born in 81, same age as me.haha..off topic..Well here my comments...A bit too nervous I guess..But the duet was nice.He sounds like pin guan as well. I was quite shocked that He choose this song again. Well, because of his nervous, pple tend to realise his flaws when he sing this song the second time..A mistake to do so but he still retains some emotions of the song...I was rather shocked to see Wei Song failed him..Being a musician person and judge, all judges should be senstive and imaginative enough to feel and aware that blind pple did not see the stage and it was pitch darkness with a lot of voices coming in front of him..Do u know how scary it can be...if the person is pessismistic, it can be more frightening to him..So I hope weilian can curb this nervous problem..a bit disadvantage for him I guess....Got one part , he is a bit out of breath...I think he is sick bah...But he can sing definitely....It is unfair to judge him by comparing the first time he sings "I believe"..Cos other contestants also got stage fright just that they did not choose the same song and hence the audience cant tell so distinctively...But bo bian, weilian is the one who choose this song..I think when he sings, he should close his eyes completely..otherwise it gives pple a impression he struggle to sing with difficulty..But most impt is which one is more comfortable for him...A pity he is blind and cant watch with his eyes his own performance on stage and improve on it..He can only sense and learn what the judges say...Hope he can do better the next time round if he is still inside..Keep going strong.I really hope he wins....

M6 (Jason Chen Guo Qiang)
演唱歌曲：爱如潮水
- A daring act to choose Jeff song..This song is too challenging for him and too fast for him..The song is too fast that he cant really had time to put his emotions inside. Only jeff can do it...His vocals is very average..Throughout the whole song, nothing catch my attention at all.. THe only thing he had is his looks but too bad this is not a model competition...He got the looks compared to the rest..But with this kind of vocals, I don think he can win superstar...Or perhaps I might change my view for him if he change a song that can shine his vocals..We shall wait and see...
Do u realise got one judge give very high for M6..as high as 7..He judge accordingly to the looks I think...Or perhaps diff judges give marks in diff aspects?..Maybe..

For this round, it seemed that Leehom songs are quite popular...
Overall, I think all contestants got different strengths and weakness..If they all combine, it is perfect, but too bad, cant do it..haha..

Sentosa

Today, I got a nice and happy dream, but then this morning Luee call me and disturb my sleep and I forget my dream le...Called me in the morning and asked me to go to Sentosa and accompany him to suntan.lol..2 of us only and we really go..lol..Nok go HK and Yumin is not free...The sun is not that great and Luee dont want to suntan...Waste my 3 dollars to enter Sentosa and his admission is free cos he got apply the member for Sentosa..Sigh...But we still play pool in Sentosa..at least got do something but it can be done in Singapore..lol...Well, he said he got a nice dream today and he also said he always dream one...His dream is an interesting one but I shall not say it out...lol....

Swimming

Today just went to swim as planned..Quite tired today, I think I coming back to my swimming form nowadays. For the past one month, I had been swimming once a week. Today I just swim 15 laps but not continuously lar. Just swim slowly...Never in my nus life till now, I swim 15 laps in a swimming outing. Usually swim around 5 laps only. Today took 1.5hrs to swim 15laps, in 6 intervals of 10, 2, 4, 4, 4, 6 = 30 lengths..Everytime I swim, I cant really see properly without glasses. If go with a friend, I need to see carefully otherwise I will recognise wrongly and malu myself, but usually recognise my friend by the swimming trunks colour or the way they swim bah. Some pple swim very unique or some pple swim very funny..lol...(maybe i swim also very funny so better don laugh at pple..haha)But usually pple wear black swimming trunks, cant tell much also. I only saw one person wear luminous yellow green swimming trunks before. Though i like green, I don really dare to wear such colour, cos it will catch too much attention lar..

I like to swim alone, so that I can swim at my own pace..Sometimes, I can be mad, swim a lot, but sometimes I can be lazy, swim little.. Well, I like to swim in a pool, love to be surrounded by the waters, giving u a relax and gentle feeling. You will feel like u are hugging the whole pool of water or the water is protecting you all over the place.

Happy Father Day 2005

Today, my whole family went to East Coast for cycling and pinic. It is a rare occassion for me to join my family for outing. Since it is Father Day, so I join loh..lol....I woke up so early today, so tired leh and we reached there about 9pm. My sisters and I went cycling and my parents and niece stayed at the pinic area. As usual, I picked a green bicycle to cycle but the seat a bit low. I got some difficulties while riding it. Well, I still find myself very unstable when I cycled, keep turing left and right sometimes. I think my sisters cycled better than me..lol.Well, all the while, I am very different in this family one.. Sometimes wondering am I the son of my parents..lol..My two sisters listen to English songs, more English educated, both got degree in Business..But me, listen to chinese songs, don like to speak English, put s/u and got U for my accountancy module in NUS. Maybe don have business brains.lol...After that, we went to have Tim Sum at China Square..Oily food, think need to go swimming tommorow..lol..Didnt know there is a desert called "gui ling gao with ching teng". Tried it today, still not that bad...

Today just went to eat Japanese Resturant at Taka with Candy, my secondary classmate. Everytime go out with her, sure always eat jap resturant one..haha..She was quite a close friend of mine in secondary school and love to listen to chinese songs too, just like me. But now, she listen to jap pop. We seldom meet one another and perhaps this is kind of technique used so that we hope we will miss one another..haha..just joking..Perhaps, we are those that don like to go out very often one..But over the years, or perhaps in JC times when I meet KS and SS and also when I became a Christian, I tend to go out more often bah..

Ok back to topic, she is going overseas to study and I need to return her cds to her so we meet up for a meal. She is a girl which always like to change her appearance, just like those jap artistes. Perhaps she had been influenced by jap bah as she had listened to jap songs again ever since I bought her to HMV many years back when HMV just opened. She always asked me whether am I regretting for bringing her to HMV as she stopped listen to chinese pop totally and listen to Jap. Haha..Well, even I did not bring her there, one day she will know also. Singapore is so small.

Well today we had many gossips..One of the gossips is about Fann Wong. Candy told me Fann Wong like Thomas Ong last time and kanna rejected by him. Furthermore Thomas Ong gf was sharon ou last time. This was later comfirmed by Candy because during the recent interview for "beautiful illusions", Fann was asked by the interviewer if she had to choose, will she choose Thomas ong or 715. Fann answer is 715. Well, from this, one can tell Fann was still angry with thomas ong for being rejected by him and chose 715. Well, how true it is, I don know but show logical..haha..Well, just for fun lar..Fann and thomas ong fans, don take it so seriously..HeeHee..Okie, today she said I got baby face..lol..quite nice to hear that..Heehee..

Today her style was finally nice to me compared to previous outings. She looked more prettier and matured now. She really got a good taste to wear clothes and match the colour of the bag with her clothes. The other appearances were a bit too much for me. If you had seen her in school only, you probably cant recognise her when she dressed up to meet you without wearing the usual schoolgirl style with the uniform. There was once she came my house quite late in the night and my parents were shocked to see her. They told me she dressed like a superstar. Hmm..That time my parents thought i bring a new gf to them..lol...Well, I not surprised..During secondary school, my classmates always ask me are we in a relationship. Well, all the while the answer is a NO till now. We are good friends and both of us love music. But now, though the directions of our music taste had diverted into different paths, we still remain as quite close friends. Today as we went out, got some model agency ask her whether she is interested in modelling and asked her to try. She always told me those pple face got not stamps but foolscap paper! She told me she don have the height and not pretty, how to become a model..lol..Another incident while we were walking on Orchard Road is that there is a gal who came to do the survey. Then Candy asked me to do. Well, there is a section whereby asking me whether I am single, attached or married. Well, I said I am single and the surveyer seem to have great doubts and asked me again. Then the third time, ask me again whether candy not my gf mah. Well, then I had to tell her she is my friend only lah..Boy-girl cannot go out together meh...Waste my time to do survey and don believe me!!...quite sianz....

I still remember how we first become friends..Though we were classmates in sec 3 and 4, we don talk to one another in sec 3. Only in sec 4, there was an outing organised by our chinese teacher to go to the Victoria Hall to see a musical performance. During that time, I went to buy Jeff" Zhi Ai" album and she saw it. Then she heard from her friends that I also got listen to chinese pop and so she talked to me loh. Just because of a jeff cd, we become friends..lol...Then she keep testing me with chinese pop stuffs such as which singers is in which label records etc..My answers surprised her cos I always get it right..HeeHee..The only stuffs I did not get many right answers is the lyricst and melodier(got such word?) of a song..During that time, still don aware such stuff..But my chinese knowledge still surprised her. So we always chat about chinese stuff in school and became good friends..lol...

After eating with her, I went to meet Yeow Guan and Dennis again in city hall. Our second time meet up in city hall again this week. We went to eat dinner together. Dennis was late so YG and I eat first. We also went to suntec to see the car exhibition. Sitting inside the driver seat gives me a kind of urge to learn driving. Perhaps now it is the right time for me to learn driving. My parents and friends had been pestering me to learn all the while. Somemore Zhenwei promised me to accompany me to Yio Chu Kang to learn, just to motivate me to learn. Haha..Well, all the while, I feel that driving a car is very scary and I scared I knocked down pple..lol..Well after that, we went to eat some deserts and Dennis eat his dinner...It is also a night of gossip again and we chat till around 11pm then went back home.

Such a small world!

Yesterday went for another meetup to consolidate all the hk pictures. Well, I still have one film still had not develop yet but most of the hk pics had been done and uploaded. (If anyone wants to see, let me know, i post the link to you..Dont think i will post it in my blog lol..somemore got video clips as well..)

We went to the usual place at city hall again and guess who we meet..Ivan chua, our classmate..So coincidence. He was on the way back home and just happened to see us. Also, while I was on the bus back home, I saw one familiar face in the van. Then when he hi to me, then I know it is him, my army friend Thia Soe. He had changed a lot and could not really recognise him each time. He was also the one I meet while I went HK. That time, our flight both kanna delayed so we stayed at the same hotel. Both times, he was the one who hi to me first as I could not 100% comfirm what I saw is him. Then yesterday, meet him just like that on the road..So coincidence..
Well Singapore is indeed very small.

梦

梦究竟是什么一回事呢？一个人为什么会作梦呢？从小，我就一直作梦，现实和梦幻里难分难解，分不出黑和白。不只是作梦，我还喜欢作白日梦呢！哈哈。也许梦能带给人一种作词的灵感，但它也可能是个可怕的恶梦。有人说如果你常常梦见你在飞，那就是说你有束缚，渴望自由。曾经和一些朋友说过我作过的梦蛮精彩的，梦见全世界上的人都在追我，要杀我。我朋友就说我压力很大，要不然很少可能会作这种梦。经常作梦的人不一定是压力太大，我也听过另一种说法。 成年人通常发梦比小孩子来得少。小孩子的想象力比较丰富，大人生活压力大，工作繁忙，梦也变得少了许多。王力宏也曾说过他作梦比面对事还多。也许会作梦的人，这就是我们一种保持小孩子心态的方式吧！我的梦真的很丰富，也梦见很多艺人，比如，张惠妹，梁静茹，朱哲琴，范文芳，王力宏，张信哲 等等。有些梦我有写下来，有些梦就在一天之内消失在我的记忆里。这些艺人，最深刻是梁静茹吧，那时因为我没有去看梁静茹今年的演唱会，就梦见了我去看梁静茹的演唱会，她还在台上跟我说话。最近，我也梦见了Twins 来我家打麻将，而我家是在香港。过后，容祖儿也来我家借用厕所，然后一起打麻将。也许是听太多她们的歌，所以还会梦见她们。我今天听谁的歌，跟那个朋友出去，我就有很大的可能会梦见他们。我也梦见Tsunamis 过，也梦见我那时去香港，飞机出事情， 梦见一位朋友死掉 等等。是不是很精彩呢！梦对我来说只是一种体会，一种也许在现实生活中，无法体会到的东西。

When Green Meets Green!!

Today, I went to meet Kelvin Wong, my army friend. Well, I realise I need to pass him a cd which I help him to get and I only realise that when I packed my stuff these few days. For almost a week, I had packed my stuff and it still halfway through only. Need another week or more bah.

We went to sim lim area today as he wanted to modify his Xbox for his little brother. Only now then I realised modification is ban in singapore and became more strict nowadays. So it quite hard to find a shop to modify an original xbox. Well, after a long day of searching, we went to Toa Payoh for dinner. I ordered a mini pot with rice and he ordered laksa and he treated me with Rojak and Popiah. All the food were nice and yummy and were very very full. Furthermore, I was drinking my favourite drink " Bandung" which made one more full..Then he asked me whether there is any nice places to shop in toa payoh..Hmm Then I told him popular..Then he replied me..Wow so no life..haha..In true, I usually go toa payoh cos I need to go popular one. Some frequent popular outlets I go is orchard and sometimes go Hougang one as my piano lessons were held there. That all for today..Very tired..Nites..

Piano Lessons going to end soon!

Today will be my third last lesson for piano lessons. It was such a coincidence that ks and I requested to stop piano lessons last week. We did not tell one another we are stopping but end up we wrote the termination form together but ks is stopping later than me. I am stopping at the end of this month while ks stopped in mid July.

I think over the years, my passion of music had declined (See my science of music grade, anyhow compose a song. No passion to edit also during that time haha) and nowadays the singers and songs is not as good as the late 90s songs.

Another reason why I stop learning piano is because I think I can learn the piano myself in my own sweet pace. After learning for quite some time, I think I roughly know the basics and need not waste money to have a teacher to assist me. Sometimes, having a teacher beside you while you play will make you perform not that good compared to your usual performance while you practise alone. Furthermore, I don intend to take any piano exams in the first place. I think I don have much talent in piano leh. Initially I thought I had musical talents just like Leehom cos we are both Taurus and Taurus are good in music...haha. but it did not turn out this way..Haha..Sob Sob...Or maybe I did not work hard enough and yar I know I am lazy in nature..Heehee..KS is terminating the lessons as he wanted to concentrate on his studies for the coming new semester after his IA ended this semester and hoped to increase his cap to above 4. Good luck then. For SRJCians to have cap above 4 is rare..haha..Don know why, I am very happy that my piano lessons finally stopped le..haha. Maybe all the while I had been practicing until I am very tired. Haha. Also, my sunday will be more free from the month of July! Haha.. Today was a surprise. I played 4 pieces of songs to my teacher. Usually 1-2 songs per lesson only. Haha. Good Job!

绝对Superstar

看了昨天的“ 绝对Superstar”，真是令我捧腹大笑。有些人很勇敢，但也要知道自己的实力到什么程度。有些大概有40岁也去参加这个比赛。如果你是唱片公司的总裁，你会和他们签合约吗？除非他们的歌声有像张信哲，张学友，王菲，我还会签吧！有些人还选高难度的歌，比如说那些快和动感的歌曲，而他们唱的时候，一点动感也没有，还走了音，听者听了好像是变成另一首歌，实在是不自量力， 但也带给大家一些娱乐。有些参赛者，一听就知道他们会被淘汰了。原因就是他们无法控制自己的歌喉。看“绝对Superstar”的时候，有一件是让我开怀大笑的是参赛者竟然会把自己要唱的歌给弄错。有大概一半的人说 是张惠妹的“原来你什么都不要”， 另一半却说“原来你什么都不想要”。

我觉得评判比较喜欢那些很独特的嗓音。我听见一些歌声的确很另类，现在在娱乐圈还找不到呢！有些我觉得唱得还蛮好的，但是不合格，我想大概是评判也注重外表吧！令我最感动得一位参赛者是那位盲人。他唱起歌来会给听众一种感动。评判听了也差一点就哭了，我也一样。我真的陶醉在他的歌声里。也许这些年来，他在路边常常唱歌给大家听，赚一点钱，也累积了不少经验。 我要恭喜他，他进入了大决赛了。我希望他会赢而出唱片，然后红起来。台湾也有一位盲的歌手红了起来! 在女子组方面，我蛮看好黎俐君的。她很漂亮，也很有置信。虽然那天她生病，但还是唱得很不错。如果我没有猜错，她和我一起读过“Financial Accounting” 在NUS。（我觉得她很美，也许是那天她穿了青色的衣吧。哈哈。）

去过今年阿哲在J8 的“签唱会”不然会发现有一位男生在“绝对Superstar”里头很面善。他就是在阿哲的签唱会玩游戏的时候，唱了阿哲的“我能相信”。在“绝对Superstar”里也唱了这首歌。可惜他被淘汰了。也许是样貌不够讨好吧。我觉得他唱得还蛮不错的。毕竟要唱阿哲的歌并不简单，也很少人会选阿哲的歌来参加比赛。我想所有阿哲歌友会的会员都认识他吧，也觉得他唱得相当的好。连张信哲当时都对他的歌声下了一跳。

看了这个节目之后，发现男生的唱腔没有比女生那么多。总而言之，很期待大决赛的节目，]参赛者，加油吧！祝你们好运。

(PS: Heard from one of the jeff fan club memebers that the guy name who sings jeff song is terry. She also agree terry sings very well..See I never bluff u all..haha)

Received My Insurance Claim Finally!

I get my insurance claim today...It was 100 dollars..This mean I will watch Xue Lang Hu free using this money.. Or in other words, my HK trip is about 300++ for 4 days 3 nights.Really good..God Bless.HeeHee


These few days, start to pack up my stuffs in my room. Though I throw up quite a no. of things in plastic bags, my room still did not look neat to me..Sianz..Need to throw my things then and had to find time to rearrange my stuff..I think I need to rearrange my cd in my room. Sometimes I got difficulty finding the albums in my room..Maybe should separate male and female albums separately.

Lately, still playing warcraft and had completed Stackerz TD, Hell TD in just one day...quite easy TD to play...

最近买了 TWINS 的“见习爱神”专辑。好早以前，就已经听说这个组合有多红， 但我并不对她们有太大的兴趣。直到我听到里头的一些歌而让我有买这张专辑的冲动。另一个理由是这张专辑有好多首歌是她们粤语歌的经典而翻译国语来唱，所以我相信一定会有满多好听的歌。一个歌手通常最好的专辑是他们的首张专辑。歌手像“林俊杰，范玮琪， 阿牛，张韶涵 ，江得胜 我都买他们的第一张专辑。他们以后的专辑会不会让我买是个大考验。因为我的要求会更高。以上我写的歌手，我都没有买他们的第二和下来发的张专辑了。TWINS 这张专辑会不会是我买最后一张呢？我们就拭目以待吧！“星光游乐园”是一首不容易腻的歌， 而“见习爱神”听了就很high, 很想动起来的一首歌。 这张专辑给我一种回到小学生的童真。她们发了这张专辑，我还知道原来她们有那么多歌迷的.

God and Us

Yesterday a friend of mine asked me how does one knows whether which way God wants her to take in her career path? Well, the standard answers are always through the word of God, dreams, leaders etc. Well, I guess different people had different encounter and I can’t really give a good answer for that. It is important to have a relationship with God and do not wait for the last minute and you want an answer from God. It took time to understand God and how and in which ways He likes to communicate with you. Through experience and your walk with God, I guess you will have the answer. And if you do not maintain a good walk with God, and wanted an immediate answer, well I guess it will be a little bit hard but sometimes you can still get the answer. It all depends on God.

When we are young, our parents are like a parent to us. When we are older, they are like friends to us. Similarly, I think God and us should work the same way. While as a child, we encounter a lot of difficulties God had set us so that we can preserve good personalities such as determination etc. Christian walk is never an easy one. When we counter all such problems in life, we know it is for our own good and thank God and understand God better. Hence the relationship will deepen and will be like friends though harder trials are waiting for us. Haha.

Days of warcraft

Recently start playing warcraft again. Cos last week, got the chance to chat with Robin, my BMT section mate. Robin just got his original warcraft free from his friend so we played together online. He gave me a map and just completed zoatar Tower Defence after many tries and hours of playing. I get to know this map through Robin. It was quite a challenging map and you need to creep through a hero while builing yr own maze on a piece of land. You can use options such as stealing gold from other players, destroying one tower from yr opponents, buy life.. Such options require lumber which you will earn it by killing each stage boss. There is also another bank account which if you don leak it each levels, the cash inside will accumulate and you can cash in to become your gold. But once you leak, the bank account will be zero. Once you complete, there is a code and when you play again, you write this code in the chatbox and you can summon a special builder. This builder is very useful and can build wonderful ultimate towers!! These days really into defence maps...very fun. Ok..I can tell you how i win using nature race...

Hitchiker's Guide to the galaxy

Today just went to catch a movie called “Hitchhiker’s Guide To the Galaxy” with Luee and nok at causeway point. Didn’t even know the existence of this movie until Luee asked me to watch. This is the first time going to causeway point. I took mrt from kovan all the way to woodlands, took me about 30 min to reach. It was a stupid movie, full of craps, but the robot is very cute. I like the robot very much. At the start of the movie, I didn’t catch too much as I am busy eating the popcorn. Didn’t know Luee was a popcorn freak like me, can keep eating continuously. Furthermore, I am reading the Chinese subtitle while watching the movie. Usually I really cant catch the English language in eng movies so usually I read the Chinese subtitle.

Today I also bought a Chinese book called “ 唱所欲言” written by 扬君伟。 It been quite some time I never heard of him. Some people said he was a lecturer of some poly. Not too sure how true this is. But back to topic, this book was quite nice though I had not read finish yet. I read the first few pages and it was quite nice. He was one of my favourite DJ and always full of thoughts and did his homework while he interviewed the artistes. He is so knowledgeable that I am quite impressed. Sometimes, some dj really cannot make it. I think I know more than some of the djs. There was once Huishi comment on an album in long hu bang. You know what happened? The comment was exactly the same as the magazine review. Does she had her own thought, rather than copy other magazines’ review? Even she want to use other people review, she can kindly quote it. She thought listeners wouldn’t know it? Another DJ is lingzhi.Well, I don wish to comment why i don like her..But then, I had taken a photo with her before lol...Anyway, i taken 2 comments from 2 diff person abt her...I cant help but agree with them..

One commenter: if u always follow 933 挑战歌曲九连环, u will know that those under her (linhzhi &weibin) show, if the caller can't get the correct answer, will also kena suan by her also...wat waste plp time lah, waste plp chance lah..really sick of her, at least weibin is so much better than her

Another commenter: also think lingzhi has this kind of problem... she will like to give some insults to the listeners.. and sometimes she gives me the impression that she is unprofessional... especially in her cd review segments...
