My Cousin Wedding

I just attended my cousin wedding on Mon (30/5). It was a bit rush. My mum had been reminding me but I keep forgetting until the day before. Oh, I had not had my hair cut, find a suitable clothes to wear yet. Luckily, I bought some clothes from HK which is quite presentable. Dont really like to wear long sleeves shirt so I choose to wear short sleeve shirt and it is apple green in colour haha. Exactly wore 2 shirts for the morning and night one. The morning one I wore a blue shirt and my sister were shocked to see me finally buy a shirt that is so nice. Hmm..What does she meant by that..All my shirts I buy last time not nice meh..haha.. At night then I wore the apple green shirt.

Woke up today at around 9am, not so used to it as I always woke up around noon time ever since my exams are over. Not much time to do proper grooming and just rushed to my auntie house at hougang. Do the usual stuff and had our lunch there. Suprisingly, the buffet was a nice one. I like it. Heard the bride dress cost 300 dollars and later the night grown cost 600 dollars..Dont know my parents were exaggarating or not but I was like why so expensive one..Also saw my the other cousin baby, so cute and chubby and heavy..haha..And no one wants to carry him for a long time cos he is really very heavy. He looked like his dad too. Really identical..Then after that, we went home and get ready for dinner at raffles town club. Since there were time left, my family played a game of mahjong. Mahjong is good for a family pastime as it was the only time I chat with my family while playing and heard a lot of gossips. Though mahjong is a form of gambling but gambling is not good if you cant control it. If you gamble with a heart to lose, you will never be a addict gambler. And mahjong can improve mathematics. Only through the mahjong session yesterday, then I realised my mum side, about 90% of them married hainanese one. And my mum and dad is hainanese and so I am a pure hainanese. Haha. Then my mum had her own theory then. She said hainanese men are very well behaved..Heehee...

Finally, evening approaches and we went to raffles Town Club. It was a posh club but I went there before. First time was during my IA company dinner. The food is not that nice one but the place was quite posh. I went to see the room inside the club which my cousins had booked. WOw...the toilet is very big, as big as my room!! Heard from one of cousins that andy lau stayed at the club room before also but I think the room is even higher class one. While waiting for the dinner, the door was yet to open and the guests just loitering around the area. Then the waiter and waitress will go around and ask the guests any drinks they wanted. So funny, they never ask me one..Hmm...sianz....Only one asked me...Why they never ask me one? hmm..nevermind..

Dinner went as usual. There are some video clips of the couple and I saw a pic looked exactly like a pic in "autumn in my heart". Except that in the autumn in my heart, the male carrying the female was dying as he walked along the beach but that wedding pic showed both living person. It was a nice scenery as it was at the beach as well.. SO it looked exactly like the one you see in the drama. There are nice video clips before the dinner started as well and I was impressed. There was a band there too. They even knew how to sing cantonese song but they are not asian pple. Quite impressive.. Still got "xiao wei" song.. haha...Ok..That abt all. I am tired throughout the day and need to rest. Oh no, tomorrow results were be released. :)

Kampong Kapor Methodist Church

Today just went to yongliang church at Kampong Kapor Methodist Church. This church was located at a special place and quite wulu too. It was somewhere at little india place and the place was located along the small roads not the main roads. Hence it might be quite difficult to find if you went for the first time. This was the second time going to the church but the first time attending their contemporary service. I was rather shock to see that there was not much pple in this church, most probably the youths are not many in the church. Most of them are adults and are attending the normal service. While waiting for my friend outside the church, I saw a car and inside the car was a familiar face. Then I realised he was the lecturer for sci of music, Benard Tan. SO i guess he was the church here bah. He got down from his car and talked to his wife( I think so). Then the church bulletin also got benard tan name on it. He was one of the contributors for a pipe organ recital at the church on wed 1 jun 8pm. Wondering I should go or not haha.. Anyone wants to go?
My first impression of this church is that the youth is a bit lukewarm and slacker..just like me heehee...When new pple come to the church, they will not like other churches who is very super friendly to you one, they just bo chap you or just treat you normally. I quite like that way of doing things..haha...sometimes some christians are over friendly that they might scare the visitors too.

Today sermon was talking about love. Love the Lord with all your strength, all your soul, all yr heart blah blah blah..and love your neighbour. Notice that the scripture did not say love the lord first then love your neighbour. It was connected and how true it is if you don love your neighbour which you could see as a living person, then how could you love God who you could not see..

So studious and funny..BoBian..He was disrupted and now had to serve army..haha..Dennis also pass me the "snow Wolf Lake" Tickets..So happy, looking forward to sept 16. Back to topic, during our meet up, they were quite surprised to see my photos..cos i usually took pics of objects, unexpected photos, scenery, animals etc...haha..Here are some non-living pics i took..

HK Trip –The fourth day (12 May 05)

The last day was not much to write also. After checking out of hotel, we went out and do our last shopping at HK Island. We tried their chicken rice. Next time, when you ordered chicken rice from HK, don buy for you alone. Their chicken rice is so big that it can be shared by 2-3 persons per plate. The rice they gave was so much that it was like rice no need money one. Haha After all the last shopping and places we went, we headed to the airport to go back to Singapore. The important or the most happening part of the day was the time we reached the airport. To our surprise, the flight was cancelled. The flight did not reach HK airport. But it was a blessing in disguise. The united airline gave us free accommodation which was a 5 star hotel near the airport and 2 free meals for dinner and breakfast. One of the meals was buffet. We were arranged to leave Hongkong using Cathay airline instead of united airline the next day morning. Hence, we stayed in Hongkong one more day. The hotel was really nice and spacious. There were spa and swimming pool. We were given 3 rooms in this hotel and Dennis room can see the swimming pool from his room’s windows. We had a nice buffet and you guess what!! I saw Thia Soe, my army friend in the buffet dinner. It was such a coincidence. He went to HK with her gf and their flight was delayed as well and were staying the same hotel as us. But they came to HK one day later than us. After the buffet, the couple went to other places and we went to the airport to do some shopping. In Hongkong, most of our time is just to eat and shop. Haha. Next we went back to our room to play Dai Di and mini mahjong which I had bought in HK. The next day, we woke up quite late as we stayed quite late playing the cards and mahjong. We never eat the breakfast as well as we are still quite full due to the heavy buffet we had last night. That about all and we headed back to Singapore. It was a nice trip to Hongkong but it was a pity that the weather was rainy and I was sick. One of the foods that attract me in HK is the “cong”. It will be given to you if you buy the chicken rice. It was really nice and yummy. Not because it is green lar. Haha.. And also in HK, when you are on the escalator, one must remember it has two sides, one side is for those who want to walk while on the escalator, the other side is for those people who just stand while on the escalator. Last but not least, I hope the flight delay can claim 100 dollars for each of us as the delay was more than 12 hours. I shall keep my fingers cross and we shall see. Time flew just like that and Dennis brother drove me back to my home from Singapore Airport.

HK Trip—Third Day (11May 05)

As usual, we woke up around the same time and went to eat wanton noodles for breakfast. Again we took some time to find it too. We also tried the Australian dairy products. It was like a desert. It has milk with egg white or milk with egg yolk. I tried the milk with egg white. It tasted quite nice but a bit sweet. Next we proceeded to Ocean park. We spilt into 2 groups. One group go Ocean park and the other group go shopping again as they did not want to go to Ocean Park. I chose Ocean park. By the time we reached Ocean park, it was already 1pm and it closed at 6pm. We was indeed in a rush to explore the park. In Ocean Park, I tried 2 rides only. One of the roller coasters was 360 degrees overturn but not that scary. But it was my first time riding a 360 degrees roller coaster. The other one is scarier as it had more up and down slopes. I also went to see bird show and the dolphin showtime. I also had the chance to see panda. Think it is the first time I see a Panda in my life haha, quite cute. Same goes to dolphin; I had never seen a real dolphin in my life. Ocean Park had 2 parts, highland and lowland and you need to ride the cable car to go each land. That day, it was quite scary as the weather was rather windy and cloudy. Furthermore, the cable car below was running along a high hill and beside it was the sea. In fact, Hongkong was surrounded by seawater and you can found the seawater quite easy in HK. After ocean park, we went to Victoria Peak. It was a waste as it was too foggy to see the view from the top when we reached there. Furthermore, it was dark already when we reached there. We went up by the tram titled about 20 degrees (but seemed like 45 degrees to me) to the Victoria Peak. It was quite fast to reach the peak. Since we could not see anything, we went to the wax exhibition and took a lot of pics inside.
The last part of the day was to go to Lan Gui Fang whereby people said you can see a lot of stars there but I see none. Haha. I only saw a lot of angmoh there. We went to one of the pubs and played cards while we drank. After that, we managed to catch the last few trains back to hotel. That the end of our 3 day. Sadly, it left one more day before we left Hongkong.

HK Trip- Second day (10 May 05)

We woke up at around 8am and planned to meet for breakfast at 9pm. But in the end, we took our own sweet time to wake up and ended up 930pm to get ready for breakfast. We went to eat Tim Sun. We had a hard time finding a Tim Sun restaurant but we found a good one. We enjoyed our meal and it was already around 12 noon. There was still heavy downpour but we still carry on our next destination, Lantana Island. But to our surprise, it did not rain there. Quite sunny in the first place but became cloudy and windy. The Buddha was not as big as we thought. But it was a nice scenery as we went up by bus. After that, we went to eat “dou hua” near the bus stop before we went down. It was nice but I never try. Haha. Later part of the day was mainly shopping too. There was a shopping at Tung Chung MTR which is at lantana island. The espirt there was cheap with great discount. Furthermore if you buy more than HK$300 dollars you get another discount. Due to the long shopping in espirt, we miss the timing for tsing ma bridge so we went shopping again. This time was at Olympic shopping centre 1 and 2. After 2 days of shopping, I realized HK people like to wear green clothes as I saw a lot of green clothes and bought some of them. In fact, most of the clothes I bought is green. Haha. In Singapore, you hardly find nice green clothes one. We shopped till the shopping closed and we began to leave. Exactly, HK shopping centres closed quite early. That all and just like that, it was the end of our second day in HK.

Hk Trip—1st Day(9 May 05)

It took me quite a while to arrange the picture and wrote this blog entry for my hk trip..Enjoy reading..

Sunday was a day I came back from chalet in the morning and was rushing for the last shopping before the trip to Hong kong. In the very last minute, I went to buy the memory card for my digital camera after asking some people for advice in msn. After that, I went to buy and also some stuffs like medicine and batteries. Buying medicine was indeed a wise choice as I start to feel that my throat is not feeling well after going for bbq on 7may. Next, I went to meet Dennis, Yeow Guan and his girlfriend as they are planning to stay at my house overnight so that we can go to the airport the next morning at 530am through my father car. We ended up never sleep very well and went to the airport the next morning. Though we reached there early, we went to have breakfast at BK. In the end, we ended up the last 5 passengers in the flight. The united airlines staff was all waiting for us to board the plane. It was so rush and there were so many checks as it was an America plane bah. My nail clipper was confiscated as they said there were sharp objects at the back of my nail clipper. Sigh… Poor nail clipper, I left my nail clipper in Singapore and flew to Hong Kong. Though we were the last few the board the plane, the plane arrived at Hong kong 25 minutes early. They were speeding? Haha..

We had a hard time finding the tour guide in the airport to fetch us to our hotel. After all the checking in of the hotel, we finally can proceed our first day schedule in Hongkong. It was raining quite heavily on the first day. The raindrops were quite big and special compared to Singapore. Some of us thought it was typhoon rain. The next day, the Hongkong newspapers announced that the rain had caused the cargo in the harbour to collapse. You can imagine how strong the rain is. Though it was raining and we were carrying jackets and umbrellas with us, We managed to complete our schedule and completed all the shopping spots we planned to go. It was amazing. Everyone was tired. It was like a 16km route march. I believed the distance we walked is definitely more than 10km. Furthermore, the rain made the walk more tedious and our feet are quite wet as well. Dennis umbrella was spoiled as we shopped throughout the day. He had to say bye bye to the umbrella and apart and left his umbrella in Hongkong. His umbrella spoilt cos the rain too strong? No lar..think it is because his umbrella is too old le..haha. Due to the rain, we could not watch the avenue of stars as it was cancelled due to heavy downpour. But we still walked along the path and took pictures with our umbrellas on. Afterall, we completed our shopping tour which we thought we will push some shopping spots to the last day but we completed even though it rained. We bought quite a number of stuffs and the money just gone like that. Haha.. When we reached our hotel it was about 12-1 am, everyone was tired. We bathed and slept. No strength for playing cards but we got a meeting to discuss our schedule for the next day before we went to sleep. It was indeed a day of nothing but shopping.

It been a long time I had not blog. Recently, I was busy reading comic “Naruto” 《火影忍者》 which Nok had recommended me to read. From last Thursday to now, I had read till vol.12, still got more than half to go…

这个漫画的情感还蛮丰富的，也蛮动人的。每个漫画大多数都会有打斗比赛比如 武林大会这种类式的斗争，《火影忍者》也不意外。《火影忍者》的人物还挺多的。要记得每个人物的性格需要一段时间。里头的卡卡西老师是第一轮选票中最喜爱的人物之一。有些人会感到意外，第一名为何不是旋涡鸣人或是宇智波佐助呢？

旋涡鸣人是个从小就没有父母的一个孤独的孩子。他有点傻傻得，从小就没有人认同他，而他却要自己努力证明他的实力给大家看。他知道一直为他所经历的事而哭是没有用的。因为哭是没有用的。他不要做一个爱哭鬼，对事情是不会有好转的。他也已经哭够了。他只会用乐观的表情面对周围的人，但还是有点傻气。

人的一生有时会有一些我们经历过的伤痕而却不会遗忘的。这是事实， 就像鸣人没有父母一样的事实。这些伤痕是一个人的记号，也是一种体会。也有人把它当作一种回忆吧。这是一个人的特有的命运。但是每个人都有不同的方式去面对它吧！你又是如何面对的呢？

小时候看了《七龙珠》，就蛮喜欢打斗的漫画。后来看了《雷神》也蛮好看的。但漫画是一种需要花一笔钱的嗜好。音乐也是一样的，需要花一笔钱来买唱片。也因为我太喜欢音乐，所以选择音乐为爱好。但是我也是会偶尔看看，听听有什么好漫画值得我去看，去买，去借。

Chalet on 7may at Costa Sands

Just came back from HK and my whole body are aching..It been quite some time I had not been blogging. Well, I shall talk abt the sentosa chalet on 7may before sharing my HK trip bah. It was a bbq session for ml students before graduation. It was also a celebration of birthdays who birthdays fell on may, including myself..heehee...What lesson I learn from this bbq is that do not oraganise bbq when u gg overseas the day after..Cos I was sick while I was in hk and the reason was most probably due to bbq. During my 21st birthday, I told myself I will not organise a birthday party anymore cos it was so tiring and there were a lot of things to prepare. Didnt expect to organise again this time round but luckily it is not purely my birthday party but also other pple birthdays and our class farewell bbq party.This time round, I also never do anything much and I just provide the chalet, the rest was not done by me as I am busy packing my hk stuff during that few days, so where got time to help..heehee..They just do the bbq and I just eat and use some eye power....Few days ago, Ivan sent me the pics of the chalet through msn so I shall take this opportunity to share some pics in my blog.

Didnt know why everytime I call in to 933, Colin sure will hear me on air..I remembered a few years back around JC times, I called in to 933 and Colin also heared it too.Maybe only when he listens, I will have the luck to call in.Both incidents were 933 guessing games..That time, it was the guessing of artistes..This time round it is "挑战歌曲九连环". During the study week, I was so bored and called in to guess to try my luck.Though I don really like lingzhi but I still call in to guess.After guessing, Colin sms me and asked me whether it is me or not..haha.My mind was like why u again had heard me on air.That time, only one song remained a mystery out of the 9 songs. The song had a wave sound..A lot of people guess ahmei "听海" but to no avail.But I think it is obvious that it is not ahmei song. The wave sounds are quite different. Well, that day, I guess 愚人码头 by 熊天平 and 齐秦. From all the songs I know, I know this song got wave sound in front, but got some bird chirping as well so I decided to give a try..Too bad, I did not guess correctly too. The correct answer is 命中注定 by Harlem. Just like that, I didnt get my 2000 dollars otherwise I will go HK free of charge..haha...

Today is a easy day to remember..05/05/05...Hmm..nothing special but i do some gossips..I not too sure how many know that Ann Kok and CCM(Chor Chew Meng) is an item..Just know a couple of months ago from one of the ann kok website..Quite a surprise to know..heehee...

These few days were quite busy for me after the exams..Surprisingly, after the exams, I sleep quite early, about 12-1am i will go to bed liao...On sunday, someone wish me happy birthday. I was like huh? when did my birthday becomes 1 may..The surprise thing is that another of my friends who usually remember my birthday thought my birthday is 1 may too...Hmm...how come so many people mix up the dates..haha...
On Monday, it was labour day but i did not gain anything as i am already in holiday period..I went to suntec with my friends and we are planning for our HK trip schedule. After seeing the plans, i told them i going to lose a lot of sleep..Sob Sob.Imagine everyday wake up at 8am and nowadays i wake up 10am-12pm. Little boy Eemeng is going overseas without the parents soon..haha...Then Dennis said we must walk fast so that we can shop more..He was a shopping freak and I cant imagine the first day was all shopping..I going to die man..haha..I told him better to give me nice and quality food to eat so that i got the energy to shop with them..After so much planning, it was time to have a nice meal. We went to nydc to eat. It was quite nice.

On Tuesday, I met Dennis and yeow guan again and we went to NUS to play tennis. It was amazed to see yeow guan and dennis improved so much...Hmm, this time round, we pick less balls and the controlling of the ball was quite well done..Later we went to YIH to eat lunch and saw Dr T..To our surprise, he became so slim..haha.Next, I went to the YIH health centre to see the doctor..Got some block ear..The doc checked my ears and found out that everything was fine. I was told to do an exercise, take a deep breath and breathe out with yr hands squeezing the nose. Lastly, swallow yr saliva. Next time, if you had block ear, this might be useful. But it did not help me so I was told to do the hearing test. Seeing the results of the test, the doc said I cant listen to high pitch/tone quite well. Sob..Exactly, the hearing test is similar to the test for night blindness. Once you hear something, you simply just press the button. He said to me not to listen to md so often and asked me whether I got listen everyday..I replied No and said I only listened when I am on bus..Then he said isnt it everyday?...Then next, I replied, no, when i took mrt, i don listen..haha.I think he almost fainted while talking to me..Anyway, weekends also no need to go to school so I dont listen to md everyday.He gave me Neuroforte and running noise tablets to eat. The doc told me to go back to see him in a month time..That all for today.

Casino in Singapore

Lately, the singapore government had decided to set up casinos in sinagapore.Well my stand lie in the word casino, caSINO==SIN + NO..I dont agree in setting up casino to win tourists in singapore.Though I like to play gambling stuffs like mahjong, I think setting my casinos will bring a lot of social problems in singapore. Recently, there is a man who committed suicide after owning a huge sum of debts and yet the government insisted on setting up the casino. Without casino, I had seen people with broken families, people who addicted to gambling and these social problems are enough. Why do we need to add more social problems by setting up a casino. Remember that mankind are weak in temptations, otherwise why all people had sinned before. It is like putting a bomb in our country which is going to explode and cause many problems to our country. Well, the issue is not YES or No but it is One or Two. And the answer is Two. Since the government decided to set up, singaporeans had no stand at all, and we can just sit down and forced to accept their decisions. Imagine a parents always decide all the things for the children and the children had no right to choose at all. What kind of love is this? To love is to let people have the freedom to choose. If children had no right to choose, they are just like robots controlling by their parents. There are no love in between. Just as God gives mankind the freedom to choose whether to believe in him or not, because He loves us. We are not control by him, if all the things we did is in his control, why then he made us out of love. But however, when we made a wrong decision, there are consequences as well for making the wrong choice.Just like parents had to discipline their children.
