Kayaking

Today after church service, my cell group went to kayak at ECP.We decided to play sports every sunday or alternate sunday to keep our body healthy. I was suaning zhihui that we will just say but would take any actions.To make my suaning invalid, we took the first step and let the first IC yongliang to plan for this kayak activity..It was raining heavily after the church service, and we went to have our lunch in the coffeeshop near our church..The rain was quite heavy, and spoilt our moods..Then yongliang said let pray...then he prayed alone..lol...Later we decided to go to ECP and see how loh..Maybe can kayak in the rain....However, while we travel there, it was sunny..East Coast never rain at all...lol.Thank God..At least yongliang prayer worked.I also got pray in silence too..lol...And we can happily proceed our activites.Sometimes worry too much is futile..You had to move ahead and see what God had planned for you. It been a long time since I had exercised...First time wore the singlet which I had bought ages back..Seldom you see me wore singlet cos no muscles..lol....The funny thing about the kayaking is kayak single-seater is 6 dollars but kayak double-seater is 15 dollars..a bit weird rite??..All of us chose single cos it is cheap except for one couple loh...I only kayak once with ben and yuzhou before if I remembered correctly....All my cell group members are very good...They all start very well and rowed to the sea..I had to struggle to counter the choppy waves to enter the sea...To let the boat go into the sea is the most difficult part as the waves were very choppy. Somemore I never kayak single before leh...But luckily yongliang assisted me and taught me..Then I began to recap all the techniques Ben taught me before..Hence I picked up quite fast.. Able to row, turn direction very well...It is quite hard to capsize actually..But our cell group played catching...Trying to capsize everyone especially philip which they failed to capsized him the other kayak session cos he rowed too fast..But almost all capsized except 3 pple bah..One of them is me..lol...All gals capsized...lol...Capszing a double canoe is hard as it is heavy...Everytime Yongliang wanted to capsize all the CG members but end up fell into the sea...If you had been capsized, getting into the canoe again is difficult too..You need strength and stablised the boat too..After playing catching we learnt new methods to capszie pple..One easy method to capsize someone is to get whole of the hood and strings in front. The other method is snatched the row and capsized the boat so that they cant row and ran away..lol.You need a group of pple to capsize 1 boat too......

After canoeing, yongliang, erwin, yaoling and me went for a run..My legs and back were very painful when I ran..My stamina is very weak..At the jetty, yongliang and yaoling still go into the jetty and turned a loop..Erwin and I are too tired to run and we are reaching end point already and hence we waited for them to turn the loop and ran back together...After the run, my muscles ache in my legs lasted for 3-4days..Even when I went to work, I walked awakwardly..

Anyway, kayaki is very fun....Hope to go more often...A tiring weekend had passed..Stressed..next week CG activity is come my house and play...!!

Late Nights of tower defence maps “Ops Order"

Over the past 3 years, I had a wonderful friend nok who played games every night. From frozen throne to world of warcraft and to now, tower defence of frozen throne. It has been many nights for nok and me to play warcraft in overcoming the "jungle tower defend" in warcraft3. The "td" (tower defend) is so hard that we come to a point to play other "td" instead. And so, we chose to play the "cube master td" together. In order to understand each other better and work together properly. We finally came up with some "ops orders" for this awesome operation. Below are some of the pics we had drawn.The poor drawings are done by me..lol...Nok had a new blog too..I had added in his blog link in my blog..

Zpop Concert 2006

Today went to watch Zpop concert with Yuzhou and his friend. Throughout the whole concert, I realise many of my friends went too...Colin, Youlong, Jinyu, Mingyan and jeff fan club pple all came to the concert..So Coincidence that sitting beside me is one of the Jeff fan club committee members..but I cant remember her name..

In the concert, Jeff chang not only have high angelic voice but have powerful voice as well. Jeff sang the most songs among the 4 singers.He sang 5.5 songs, followed by Jolin 4-5 songs and Fish 5 songs, Harlem 3.5 songs.Althogether plus encore 4 songs, there are 22-23 songs sang altogether..Jeff fans really have the luck for this concert man! yeah!!..I thought Jolin will sing the most but I guess she need to dance and sing..A bit too tiring for a little girl like her..Also after joining the new music company, Capitol, I guess she had limitations. Think that she can only sing the new album songs since she got one album released by the company only. Just my mere guess. Most of the Jolin songs I never heard before as I am not that familiar with her latest album except the 2 zhu da songs. She super act cute also lol.She the only singer who had make-up from top to bottom..Cos she wore a short skirt so had to make sure her legs are flawless.Her dancing are great..Harlem encore is good too. Very high!! I hope harlem will sing "open the windows" but he never sing.Harlem is very comical too...Jeff encore is a smart one too..Choosing a quite a long duration song among his popular songs and the song title "Generosity" suit the charity theme. My friend just remind me" do you know this song "generosity" is more than 10 years old liao!" Time flies indeed.I saw a wonderful mic control by jeff..He made a zig-zag motion..Very rare I saw this pattern...Is it a technique or by chance due to his agitation. Overall, I think the vertern singers are the better ones than the younger singers like Fish and Jolin...It great the hear harlem and jeff sing "Ai Chuan Dong"..It is indeed a rare opportunity and it is my first time seeing them sing live. The way they move and sing is very rhythmtic..Very cute.. After the concert, we saw Huang zhiyang outside the indoor stadium..Going the wrong exit, but had the chance to see the campus superstar..His face how come so plump...My friend who went to the concert also saw him on the road while she was on the cab..She said he looked like a chipmunk.Ado concert I saw Junyang who was so black, and Zpop concert I saw Zhiyang whose face is so round lol..

After the concert, everyone nicks is all abt jeff chang..Youlong nick is quite nice..我爱你至从开始到现在，至到下一个永远。。。

God Confirmation to Lahu Missionary Trip

Today as I went to church today, I saw a notice in the church leaflet.There is the Lahu missionary trip notice. I guessed God doubled hinted me again..And God comforted me further..The notice said one can choose to come for the whole or one-half of the trip. I guess God know my fears and my unprepared heart..See how real God is!!
The notice this week is as below..I guess this is the first week they publicized in the leaflet..It is also the last week I going to make decision to Warner.What a perfect timing and great plan by God..lol...

Christmas Mission Trip to Lahu: 8-19Dec 2006
Bring the Christmas Message and joy to the Lahu Village this Dec. Our team together with believers from Santi and MaeYaMin villages, will be reaching out to several villages along the MaeYaMin River. We will organise a sports carnival, help to construct a building, teach English and do Christmas Outreach programmes such as carolling, skits and dance.

A contract to take or not??

After taking 2 days of leave, many things piled up on my office table.Didnt know taking a 2 days leave will turn out a blessing in disguise?.And I got a surprise contract from the GM. I think they scared I found a job and left the company so they wanted to give me a 6month contract..Hmm...I am thinking for the past few days, and still undecided whether I want to take it or not..Before this contract, my CGL mentioned about the missionary trip whether any of us going..The day after he mentioned this, the contract seemed to tally well with the missionary trip. I guessed God had clearly hinted me to go. But God also reminded me it still my choice to go or not. Cos I am not prepared to go and quite afraid to go there. There is a high chance I go there without anyone I know. Most importantly, God reminded me that his plan is not always one way..As long I made decisions in his boundary, it is still alright. Afterall, we dont see God's will as a dot, rather, we see God will as a circle. I guess many churches in Spore failed to see that too..Anyway, I shall give my GM the reply this weekend..Hope all the best for me..Pray for me..lol...

12 July Commencement 2006

12 July..The commencement for many of my good and best friends around me...It was a wonderful day and reminded me things in the past..Those were the days.. I spent the whole day in NUS UCC..10pm,3pm,8pm...I had all friends' convos in all sessions. 10pm--Qian Nuo(Nok), 3pm- Yongliang, 8pm- Kwansiang, Koon Heng, Zhihui etc....The day before, I played warcraft with qian nuo until 3-4am..lol...The next day, it was his convo and I came to visit him at 12pm..A bit late, as intially planned to reach NUS is 1130am..I also saw Zhenming too and wanted to take pics with him but I realised the person took the pics in video mode..Then it turned out to be video instead of pic..Next, Nok and I went to have lunch with one of his friends too..Then Yongliang came about 1345..So I go back UCC to take pics with him. Next, I had to coordinate with my cell group pple as they are coming also..After yongliang convo, Adeline and me also came and took pics with yongliang. Next, we went to have some drinks in YIH and Zhihui came at 1830..So we rushed to UCC again.And I saw Koon Heng, my JC friend, also known as our class 老大。His hair combed until so high..lol..I wondered how he going to wear the hat..Went into the dressing room to see how zhihui wore his gown..Then saw his friends gown not ironed lol..Everyone laughed..Anyway, not many pple ironed the gown, just that that person gown was a bit obvious quite crumpled. I got a hard time finding Kwansiang. He came so late and I need to find him before he entered the hall as I leaving soon.. Luckily managed to find him for a snap at 745pm..lol....If not, I had to wait for him to come out from the hall..Then I join my friends for dinner at tiong bahru market..A hectic day in NUS...Below are some pics I took.
