Sick

Being in my work for the first two days, I was down with sore throat and a bit of cough....A tough path for the beginning of my working life that God had set for me....Nevermind, I shall preserve..Hope everything went well..

Recently, I bought myself a VCR..I need a VCR so that I can record a lot of things since I got tuition and I will miss a lot of nice shows...Then I lately dug out singapore hit award 96 to watch..The year Jeff beat Andy Lau and won Most Popular Male Singer..Yeah!!!The year Jeff was the big winner..Then I realise Jacky sang this old and famous song 情书...the lyrics is indeed quite nice but I never realise it cos last time really don like jacky cheung..haha...I shall share the lyrics here..

Reflections

好久没有买唱片了，不知为什么，每次听完一张专辑后，就会把它放在一边，不会再听了。可是，我还是那么喜欢买唱片。如果一张唱片，你能聆听出它的感情和音乐世界，那是一种享受。那也是你一段时期的主题曲。虽然，不久后，唱片会放在一边，可是偶尔拿出来聆听，那会勾起你当时的回忆和心情。

每一次的经历，会让一个人在思想上改变了一些。曾经有一个经历，它让我真真体会到有些事情真的不在我的控制之内， 也不是努力就能得到。有些东西，我一辈子也不会拥有的，也许就是“没那种命”（陈小春的歌哈哈）。我现在拥有的东西，只好先珍惜吧。

Got The Job Offer

I just got the job offer!!Yeah....Well, some friends really happy for me that I got a job I like..The post is publishing and admin co-ordinator..Well, really want to thank God for this..But I guess my working path will not be that smooth..God had spoken to me that I need to be worked hard in order to get the reward I want..Sometimes, I worked hard but may not get the final reward but one needed to be patience to get the final reward..Just like what the scripture said: " Jacob worked 7 years to get Rachel but got Leah.He did not get angry and worked hard another 7 years to get Rachel since Leah being the elder, needed to get marry first before Rachel."

A lot of pple had asked me for the pay and I did not revealed to anyone. It shall kept in confidential..Anyway I had not signed the appointment letter yet and it still too early to tell.Well, I guess one shouldnt be bothered about the pay. Afterall, working with music is a valuable thing to have, it doesnt matter to me how much the pay it will be..When u talked abt money in music, it is a bit insulting to music as well..That what I think..Loving music is like loving someone..Money should not be the factor or an unit to weight issues...If a singer become singer because of money, I dont think he or she can succeed for a long time as well..When a friend asked me about my pay, it only tells me that he or she had failed to share the joy that was in my heart when I told them the good news..But I glad that I got a couple of friends who did not ask me that....I guessed it is a good sign...And often those who asked are ML students?? haha...

雪狼湖

I had watched the snow wolf lake musical concert today. Initially I don intend to watch cos I not even a fan of jacky cheung. And that time I don know chen songling got involved too when I bought the tickets.But I am lucky that I had watched this concert cos I never regret it. Now, I also knew why jacky concerts are so expensive but it really deserved the price. This musical concert was Excellent..Though I always like to say answers like 随便, 还好，but this time round, i must say it was really good.If there was no jeff chang, jacky cheung might be my favourite singer.LOL..Jacky voice did not impressed me that great on the cd, but his live singing had impressed me..Now I know what it realy means by a superstar..He got thickness in his voice, he got 100% 感动度， head voice was good etc..haha..Chen songling was great too but I don really like evonne voice, rather thin to me..There were some parts where chen songling was a bit shaky too, perhaps nervous bah, and it made her 咬字unclear. She got some parts that sounds really like kit chan, especially the 尾音。She got very loyal fans in singapore and each time she sang high notes, the audience were clapped their hands..But for evonne, no one clapped hands for her..lol..
The musical concert was very touching and really touched me a lot. Jacky vocal was grand enough to shine through the whole indoor stadium and his vocal got the ability to enter into yr nerves and touch you totally..Some of the songs' lyrics were quite funny and made the audience laughed..At the end of the show, most of the people stood up and honoured jacky cheung..

也许很久没有听到张学友的声音，突然觉得他的歌声令我很怀念。以前，常常都能听到他的声音，因为他常常出唱片。那时，我总觉得他的声音是不错，但是还是不能吸引我。可是，现在的他，已经很少出唱片了。也就是这样，造成我那一种怀念吧！ 也许没有听过张学友唱现场的功力， 所以我一直都觉得为什么他会丰为歌神，而不是张信哲。 哈哈。但是，我还是喜欢阿哲的音色。

Busy Weekend!

On Friday, there was a ML mooncake festival gathering. Dont intend to go but finally mag, zhenwei and me decided to go..LOL..only we 3 are the graduated students to attend the gathering only..Long time never see them, still not bad..And zhenwei , mag and me had an enjoyable time chatting while we ate dinner and went for a supper after the gathering..Zhenwei brought a student exchange friend and I guessed mag got a difficult time to talk to him cos he talked english one.Now, I understand what Dennis told me about Mag is true..haha..Till today, I realise beside Mag is a green colour lover, she is as blurr as me..A lot of things also don know. But I think I better?? haha. I should be humble..haha.Though we might be blurr, zhenwei said we are very nice pple..haha..yar I also agree with zhenwei and think Mag is a very nice person and don hate pple one. She likes everyone...And she was so lucky that she was attached to Bedok Green secondary school and heard from Mag the school got many green things..One day, I shall pay a visit to the school..haha..


On saturday, Yugioh weekend for the sneakies..Benjamin dragon deck seemed good..For lunch, I managed to eat the whole dish I ordered in Cartel. Cartel serving is very big and I managed to eat all..A bit of achievement for me! haha. I and Benjamin duelled first followed by nelson and yuzhou who came later...At night, play warcraft in paradiz centre again and ended our sneaky outing there..I think I am engrossed in the game that I don even know nelson went off le..haha...

Today finally went to kampong kapor methodist church at little India..Many pple always asked me Little India got church meh haha..That was my first response when I heard the location of this church too. I guessed this church is also NUS prof Benard Tan who taught science of music was attending as well cos I saw him once.But i guess he went for the adult service instead of the youth service... A couple of weeks had been attending Magdalene church..Now switching from a chinese service to a English service, it sounds more right for me haha..But in a chinese service, I learn quite a no. of new words. Finally got to see yongliang in church. Poor yongliang, got torn ligament (ACL). Cant even walk properly and but yet come to church. God bless.Now, it was the only time anyone can win yongliang in a 2.4km run since he was injured, ok sounds so evil. After church service, went to eat lunch. We ate the chicken rice whereby the rice is ball shaped. The bunch of yongliang friends never left the topic of eating but amazing none of them are overweight and is far from overweight bah..haha..We went to watch the movie "The longest yard". Though I don know what this movie I watching was about cos I seldom watch english movie except for big movie like LOTR, star wars etc I still accompany them to watch..That the spirit of fellowship haha..Next had to rush down to serangoon garden to meet a bunch of my friends for dinner.After that, all came my house..Zhenwei and her bf came to my house to see pammy the dog. And dennis, YG and his gf went to my house to play mahjong..Not a bad start for them as beginners..They learned pretty fast....Quite fun though we never play real money.I guessed soon we can start to play with money and Dennis was the 大赢家 that night!!

To add on, during the today sermon, there were some reflections made. In newspapers, I guessed many pple had seen Christians being killed due to the fact they believed in Christ. And nearby countries like China, Vitnam, Laos are termed as the most dangerous countries ranked by some survey to be a christian there. And such countries are very near to singapore and are ranked the top ten. Well, the bible stated that Jesus said to us:　The world will hate us because of Him(Jesus). Well, the bible had warned us. I really think bible is a book of truth..God never said we Christians will had an easy life but warned us.It will be a test of faith...If christianity is just a religion to promote more pple to believe, I guess the bible will not say that Christians will had a hard time in this world and you might get persecuted because of Jesus Christ. In fact, Christians spread the gospel because of the good news of entering the heaven. Through this joy, it had overcame the sorrow of getting persecution and hardship in life. Bible is never a book to please man or promote Christianity in order to please man, but it is book of truth, a book that warned us and also ensure we got our rewards in the end..Sometimes truth is hurtful and people might not want to hear the truth but some consequences may incur as well. I still respect every decision we human beings made and decided..Let those we had ears, let them hear..Think wisely and made a good decision. In life, how many wrong decsions had we missed througout our life in school, work, kinship, friendship etc.....Ok..that all for my reflections of the week..

Grand Finals --The Final Showdown for Superstar

Today is the Grand Finals in the indoor stadium..After many months of superstar, it had finally came to an end. Come to think of that, I had never miss any episodes before from first quarter finals to grand finals.haha..But I always see tv adv and saw the tamil superstar version, I always find it weird and funny haha..don know why haha..Don know is it interesting or not...ok back to topic...

Regarding today performances, it was a bit disappointing for some of them..Exactly xinhui solo performance is better than 5 of the songs kelly sang..Xinhui looked so beautiful and her dress sense is better than the dress she wore in the finals.Xuhuanliang dress sense a bit odd..He wore a sports shoes with suit haha...The duet "Wu Ding" by JY and xinhui is also very nice.Then got the mo qing and especially when they hug together and sing..Very nice but candyce might get jealous lol...Finally heard JY sings the theme song for " tian shi wo ai ni"...But sounds a bit different from the tv adv..During JJ performance, I can heard JJ rap : this is for you JY..I am hoping JY and JJ will sing a duet but never..a bit disappointing..Also, I thought weilian will sing "hou cai tian tang" but never also haha..Again, another disappointment..The other disappointments are kelly hair..The first performance which she wore a wig is very ugly ..She did not sing that well for the first performance too..And I think Kelly looked really like Fann Wong, even the way she talked..During the last part, the thank you speech, she really talked like Fann Wong..I also quite surprised how come Jason suddenly sang so well today, found his voice rather stable and thick..

Below are my views for their performances in each round:

Round 1 (Shen qing Vs Re Qing): Weilian
Round 2 ( Unplugged): Weilian
Round 3 (Duet with JJ) : Kelly
Round 4 (Judge choice) : hard to choose but i choose Weilian
Round 5 (Own Choice) : Kelly

I think in round 5, weilian chose the wrong song..For round 2 and 4, tough fight but i chose weilian haha...For round 3, it a bit unfair but I think weilian voice is thicker and powerful than JJ, Weilian covered JJ voice...For round 4, though kelly did sing better,but I also considered the difficulty of the song..Weisong wrote this song to help kelly while feihui wrote this song to test weilian..And weilian did not have nasal singing so I guessed he did pass the test..Just that I feel he sang this song for the sake of singing and a bit old style of singing.....

After the show ended, I saw weisong very sad, like wanting to cry like that..Then I am wondering is it because he is touched by weilian or is it because he is sad that kelly lose..haha..Then the ye peifen wore a so low cut dress..Initially I thought what below her neck, then I realise it was her cleavage haha..I saw weilian sister cried also..She is studying in nus i think..Read from iweekly..I think his sister looked quite cute..Then xinhui sister looked very pretty but junyang and kelly sister looked ugly haha..Kelly sister don have her genes..Junyang sister a bit tomboy or male looking type..haha..

Well everything is over.Congrats for Weilian..I feel happy for him...



Throughout the whole superstar, I had met a lot of friends also...Glad to know u all but also wished not to know some pple but luckily i will not see them already haha....Cos some pple really a bit weird..When u go and see the superstar in the mediacorp, some will suddenly talk to u though my friends and I don want to talk to them..Some really mad one, i think 心里不平衡。Some even cried in front of us and shared how they and other fans quarrelled..Then we like want to laugh but cannot and just hear them complain..Some of them, they like idol until very mad..Some chase every contestants one..Today on tv, saw a guy in kfc(kelly fan club)..He supported silver one, how come support kelly..lol.Some pple are like that..seemed so fake haha...Always on tv, I saw very familiar faces, Hong jun, renjie, Benson, Emily, blah blah blah always on tv...KFC kelly fan club, a lot of things had happened there and I really don know how KFC is gg to manage things in the future..But anyway, we all don care le...But also, through this superstar, my love for music is strengthened as well..Took wonderful pics with the contestants, talked to the contestants, sharing their thoughts with me and also got one of the contestant hp no...One of them even approach us and talk to us..lol..maybe he also think some fans very weird one haha..

But last but not least, I glad to know the following friends: Alex, Angela, Valerie, Jacob, Youlong, Cheeboon, LiHui..Together with me, we form a mini gang and club haha...
